Maizie here. I know, I know, I shouldn’t be complaining. I mean, I do have it all going for me. I am gorgeous, athletic, blonde and I was born into an American household. But you know what? I am only canine and there are a few things that bug me. Birds, all birds but especially crows that fly away just before I get to them bug me. Greedy realtors and mean people bug me. I am bugged by the expression, “Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.” I am particularly put off by people who have no time to play with me, pet me or feed me treats. Any kind of fence bugs me. Being told to, “Settle down” bugs me. But the supreme capper of all of these irritants is when I am on a walk and pass by some people going the other way and I hear them sing, like they think they are being real clever and original, “There ain’t no bugs on me.” Now that really bugs me.

My name is Blair Leckie and my wife, Georgia and I are long time residents of Sherwood Forest - no, not that Sherwood Forest but the one in Edmonds, Washington, a beautiful city just north of Seattle. I bear no resemblance whatsovever to the brawny arrow slinger, Robin Hood, in the picture. I am more of a mild mannered Realtor with Keller Williams North Seattle offering to be the eyes and ears of the neighborhood. I look forward to sharing bits and pieces about the community, general and whimsical observations, real estate information, local businesses reviews and anything else under the sun which strikes me as blog worthy. I can be found, usually early in the morning, getting the day off to a great start by walking the neighborhood with my four month old yellow Labrador Retriever, Maizie. Actually, this walking early in the morning business is more her idea than mine but she’s blonde, gorgeous and I have a difficult time saying no to her.
So, this adventure with the blog begins and while it may not prove to be the swashbuckling adventure provided by Robin and his band of Merry Men, I will try my best to make it informative, at least mildly entertaining and germane to life in our little community in Edmonds. Welcome to my blog, Sherwood Forest Undressed.

While being anything but Presidential, which might be construed as a good thing these days, this is the white house in Sherwood Forest where Georgia, Maizie and I live. It is the headquarters for our various sortees into the community gathering information to share with you.
